Noise barriers
If an appliance like a condenser, cooling tower or compressor produces too much noise, a sound insulating wall or noise barrier is often a good way to control the worst of the noise nuisance.
This also applies to noise from road and rail traffic. It is not always feasible to completely encase a bothersome noise source and to achieve virtually complete noise insulation. In that case, a noise barrier is the best alternative. Once the noise barriers have been installed, you can be sure that you comply with the statutory noise limits whilst protecting the health of your staff and local residents.
