Elastische onderlaag voor trillings- en contactgeluidsisolatie
Volledig recyclebare schuimstof
Behoudt elasticiteit onder continue belasting
Regufoam is a vibration-damping polyurethane foam developed by Merford, specifically designed for contact-sound and vibration isolation. The material decouples the source of vibration from the base structure, significantly reducing transmission of contact sound and structural vibrations, improving acoustic comfort. Regufoam is supplied in multiple densities, ranging from 150 kg/m³ for light loads to 990 kg/m³ for heavy loads, allowing the product to be tailored to the specific application.
It is available in rolls, strips, or plates, depending on the project requirements. Rolls are typically used for floating floors, while strips and plates are used for machine foundations, technical installations, or structural decoupling.
Regufoam maintains elasticity under continuous load, is resistant to moisture and hydrolysis, rot-proof, and fully recyclable. Its high-density variants provide support for heavy machines or high floor loads, while lower-density variants are ideal for floating wooden or concrete floors. The profiled or flat underside ensures effective decoupling and consistent impact and contact sound isolation.
Regufoam is suitable for a wide variety of applications requiring vibration or contact-sound isolation. Examples include floating floors over wooden or concrete subfloors, machine foundations, structural decoupling of building elements, and technical installations. The correct density and form (roll, strip, or plate) are selected based on load requirements, vibration frequency, and desired acoustic performance.

Answers to common questions
A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an environmental analysis of a product throughout its entire life cycle: from raw materials and production to use, maintenance, and end-of-life. An LCA provides insight into the environmental impact, such as CO₂ emissions, energy consumption, and material footprint, and helps ensure the product can be used in sustainable projects or comply with certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, or the National Environmental Database.
Yes. The revision of the European F-gas Regulation (in effect since 11 March 2024) does not affect the applicability of this product. The existing requirements for fire safety and acoustic performance remain in place and are fully supported by this product.
For building-related technical installations in new construction, an LCA certification is mandatory. This product has an LCA declaration that is included in the National Environmental Database.
