Merford is ISO 14001 certified. This internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems demonstrates our commitment to reducing environmental impact, complying with regulations and continuously improving our environmental performance.
VCA**
Merford Noise Control and Special Doors are VCA** certified. VCA (Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors) is a comprehensive certification programme that assesses and certifies companies on their HSE management systems. It demonstrates that safety, health and environmental standards are structurally embedded in our operations.
VMRG quality mark
Merford Special Doors is a member of the VMRG, the industry association for the metal façade sector in the Netherlands. The VMRG quality mark confirms that our steel products meet strict quality requirements and are subject to regular independent inspections.
ALUECO
Merford Special Doors is affiliated with ALUECO, the Dutch association for aluminium façade construction. The ALUECO quality mark confirms that our aluminium products meet recognised quality standards and are subject to regular independent inspections.
BENOR-ATG
Our M-Series doors are BENOR-ATG certified with fire resistance EI₁ 60 in accordance with EN 1634-1:2014. This certification confirms compliance with the requirements for passive fire protection as defined by ANPI.
FSC® and PEFC™
Some of our products are FSC® and PEFC™ certified, contributing to the responsible management and conservation of forests for present and future generations. These products can be identified by their respective labels.
Certificate of Constancy of Performance
The production quality of our fire-resistant doors and windows is certified by SKG-IKOB. This certification confirms compliance with EN 16034. In addition, the production quality of our escape doors is certified by SKG-IKOB in accordance with EN 14351-1.
