Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Merford Special Doors, you are responsible for successfully delivering technical projects from start to finish. From Sales, you will receive challenging projects involving bespoke steel doors.

Together with the Production Planning department, you will develop the designs into concrete plans for production and installation. You ensure that projects run smoothly and that quality, scheduling, and budget are consistently aligned.

You act as the connecting link between internal teams and external partners. In close consultation with the Operations Manager, you monitor the progress and financial planning of projects. Your goal is to fully relieve the customer and deliver projects successfully on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

During your onboarding period, you will follow a comprehensive programme and gain hands-on experience with our products and processes, including observing installation and assisting with assembly.

Solution-oriented and organised, you maintain oversight even in complex situations. You identify potential bottlenecks early and respond effectively.

You enjoy working collaboratively, communicate clearly, and remain composed under pressure. Your analytical insight and attention to detail ensure that you can distinguish between main and secondary priorities.

You bring:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Or equivalent higher education level demonstrated through relevant technical project experience
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Engineer, Planner, or Project Manager within a technical, project-based environment, or a starter with the right drive and potential
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• A structured and analytical approach to work
• A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when needed
