Mechanic / Installation Technician

Your opportunity at Merford
We are looking for an experienced or junior assembly technician with proven experience in a technical or assembly environment. In this role, you are partly responsible for successfully carrying out installation work according to specifications and design drawings.
Your work takes place at diverse locations, including factories, energy and gas plants, transformer stations, theaters, and concert halls. You will install doors and air grilles and perform service and maintenance rounds for our clients.
Your responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings for assembly tasks
- Independently carrying out installation work according to schedule and specifications
- Identifying and resolving technical issues during projects
- Collaborating with the project team and reporting to the team/project leader
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to company guidelines
What you bring to the team
We are looking for a hands-on colleague who enjoys variety and takes responsibility.
You bring:
- Proven experience as a technician in a technical and/or assembly environment
- Flexible attitude, no strict 9-to-5 mindset
- Team-oriented and strong communication skills
- Valid driving license B (license E is a plus)
- Willingness to obtain VCA-VOL, forklift certificate, and aerial work platform 3A/3B
- Motivation to follow trainings and courses
