Your opportunity at Merford
As a Junior Assistant Controller at Merford, you act as the connecting link between financial administration and control. You make sure that figures are reliable, transparent, and available on time for reporting and analysis.
You will work closely with the Senior Controller, supporting reports, analyses, and financial projects. At the same time, you will collaborate intensively with the financial administration team, safeguarding data quality and contributing to smooth cooperation across the department.
After your onboarding period, you will gradually take ownership of specific reports and analyses, growing towards a Controller role. You will join an open and professional environment where collaboration, development, and responsibility are at the heart of everything we do.
What you bring to the team
You are an analytical and detail-oriented professional who wants to understand the story behind the numbers. You take responsibility for the quality of your work and see continuous process improvement as an exciting challenge.
You bring:
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Control, Accounting, or a related field
- 0–3 years of relevant work experience (graduates are welcome)
- Affinity with financial accounting and controlling
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus
- Interest in ERP systems and data analysis
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- A structured and analytical way of working
