Engineer vacancy.

Your opportunity at Merford

As an Engineer at Merford Noise Control, under the supervision of an experienced engineer or project manager and the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing technical solutions to reduce noise. This includes soundproof walls, enclosures, and noise-dampening ventilation systems.

You will create clear designs for clients and work out the details for production and installation. Your accurate drawings ensure smooth production and assembly. Every project is unique, and it is your task to bring it to life in close collaboration with the project manager. We work with Inventor or SolidWorks.

You will join the Operations team, consisting of Engineers and Project Managers. It is a motivated team focused on technical content, where colleagues help each other and learn from one another. The Operations Manager is your direct supervisor, coach, and sounding board, supporting you in complex matters and your personal development.

During your onboarding period, you will follow a comprehensive programme. You will also have the opportunity to observe installations and assist in assembly to gain hands-on experience with our products and solutions.

What you bring to the team

You have strong technical insight and are structured, precise, and eager to learn, with great attention to detail. You take pride in delivering high-quality work.

You bring:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical (project) experience at HBO level
  • Some relevant work experience in a technical environment, such as construction, industry, or installation technology. Starters are also welcome, initially joining as a Junior Draughtsman-Engineer with guided development and growth opportunities
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Extensive experience with Inventor or SolidWorks; experience with Exact Globe and Autodesk Vault is a plus
  • A structured and analytical approach to work
  • A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when needed

At Merford, craftsmanship, collaboration, and engagement are at the heart of everything we do. We combine professionalism with an informal atmosphere and provide space for personal and professional growth.

You can expect:

  • Responsibility for challenging technical projects
  • A structured onboarding programme and active coaching

  • Flexible working arrangements, including working from home in consultation
