Your opportunity at Merford
For Merford Special Doors, we are looking for a (junior or experienced) technician to apply their technical skills at our production site in Gorinchem.
You will work on a wide range of specialist doors, including soundproof, fire-resistant, and explosion-resistant doors, as well as other custom solutions for industrial, energy, commercial, and cultural applications.
You are responsible for assembling, installing, and technically finishing these products according to specifications and technical drawings. Each project is unique, requiring precision and craftsmanship.
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing assembly tasks independently
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Assembling doors, grilles, and related systems
- Identifying and resolving technical issues during projects
- Collaborating with colleagues and reporting to the team leader
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety regulations
What you bring to the team
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who enjoys hands-on work:

- Prefers working at a fixed location
- Lives within 30 km of Gorinchem
- Holds a valid VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one through Merford
