Assembly Operator

To strengthen our Special Doors team, we are looking for a flexible and motivated Door Assembly Operator. In this role, you will work entirely from our production facility in Gorinchem and play an important role in the production process of high-quality doors, frames, and façade systems.

Your work will be varied and hands-on in nature. You will work with a range of materials, including steel and insulating components. As our products are custom-made, accuracy and attention to detail are essential to meet the high-quality standards Merford is known for.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting and preparing materials and components based on work orders or technical drawings
• Assembling and bonding door and frame components
• Installing components and reinforcements
• Carrying out welding activities, such as adding reinforcements and neatly finishing tack welds
• Checking dimensions and quality during and after assembly
• Packing and preparing finished products for shipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

You will become part of a close-knit and committed team within Special Doors. Together, you will ensure that every product meets the quality standards Merford is known for. You will receive proper guidance and support, and there will always be a colleague or supervisor available to help with questions.
