Burglar-resistant in accordance with Resistance Class II and III (EN 1627)
Merford doors are burglar-resistant in accordance with Resistance Class II and III. A unique feature is that the doors can also be supplied with a panic bar locking feature. This way Merford offers a solution for areas where no concessions may be made in terms of safety (for example in theatres, cinemas discotheques and government buildings).
No additional locks are required (that require daily unlocking/locking). Nor are additional electronics facilities required. The door is available in all versions (incl. sound-insulating and fire-resistant). In addition, the door is available with anti-drill safety features render it even more burglar-resistant.
The burglar-resistant door has been tested by SKG as follows:
- Burglar-resistant in accordance with Resistance Class II and III (EN 1627 / NEN 5096)
- Panic bar (EN 179/EN 1125)
