ZPMC visits Merford on the occasion of their fifteen-year partnership
On 7 July, Merford was visited by a delegation of the Chinese ZPMC crane builder. The reason for the visit was the fifteen-year anniversary of the partnership between the two companies. In 1999, Merford built its first operator cabin for a ZPMC crane. In the years that followed Merford has built many more.
The sunny weather in the city of Gorinchem provided the group of 16 representatives a pleasant welcome as they drove up to Merford's premises Monday 7 July. For most guests this was their first visit to our company. Representatives of both companies gave various presentations that reviewed ZPMC's and Merford's joint history. This was followed up with a tour for the Chinese delegation of the Merford building's production facilities. The visit was concluded with a lunch in a Chinese atmosphere.
Each year Merford supplies dozens of cabins that find their way to China. These cabins are installed on a crane at ZPMC, after which the complete crane is shipped to its final destination. The partnership with ZPMC is of mutual importance. Merford is therefore looking forward to a pleasant continuation of the partnership into the future.
