Unique control unit for Next Generation Gangway of Barge Master and Bosch Rexroth
Barge Master is a supplier of motion compensation systems for the offshore industry. The Next Generation Gangway is the company's latest innovation. The system transfers people from a ship to, for example, offshore wind turbines or platforms. The machine compensates wave motion, and at the same time stabilizes the gangway for people walking over it. The gangway is also applicable as a crane for light loads. The unique open control unit of the gangway was designed and produced by Merford Cabins, in extensive consultation with Barge Master and Bosch Rexroth.
